Reorganizing Mageia 4 schedule

After Mageia 4 beta 1 release, we had a council meeting as usually happens every 2 weeks. Due to the delay of beta 1 release, it was decided to reorganize our schedule. The date of the final release will not change.

Here are the main dates:

  • Beta 2: 2013/12/09
  • Translations freeze: 2013/12/21
  • Release freeze: 2013/12/22
  • Release Candidate: 2014/01/06

And now we go back to work!

    I’d recommend sliping the release date, as I don’t think you can expect much work during the Christmas hollidays…
